The only thing I liked in this movie were the special effects and the china doll. Everything else was drawn out and got really boring. We came very close to walking out. The acting was bad and got to the point of being silly and boring.

Well, first i will say i read the book first. The movie was disappointing. Had lots of things missing and wrong. I know- they have to change it for the movie and of course the book is always better than the movie. They should have kept it closer to the book, then it would have been better, but it was ok for a movie. I probably wont buy the dvd when it comes out. The actors were good, but much of the original plot was left out. The daughter looks nothing like them and was not very well acted out. Effects were good but the movie could have been better.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
