Very slow starting off and unfortunately, never picked up. Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter was, well, Johnny Depp as any other character. Very little differences in his acting, just different costumes. The 3D effects were fun and the special effects were ok, but not spectacular. With all the build up and hype, I so expected more and was disappointed. I took my 15 year old, who spent most of the move asleep! I was not impressed!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
