Some plot holes but...

I was expecting the worst but was more than surprised to find McG actually can direct! It's a whole lot of fantastic fights and explosions, and the only time T S falters is when you have to follow the "plot." The time travel thing is silly, unlike Star Trek. (I can't believe I just said that.) It's very Mad Max what with the mute child tagging along... All that said, it looks great, it cooks along at a rapid clip and it's going to make Sam Worthington a BIG STAR. Bale is merely so-so but now I can see why he was extra crabby on the set.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm a big X Men movie fan and was really looking forward to this film. It is truly GODAWFUL and never should have been made... Any episodes of "Heroes" makes more sense and that show is idiotic. Why did they not call Liev's character SABRE TOOTH by name? How did he have $17 at the poker table when he was previously nude? Etc.
Taylor Kitsch as GAMBIT was hot, they don't call him GAMBIT in the movie of course. Legal issues? That's nitpicking but the script is full of holes. Hugh throws himself into the role 100% but sometimes that isn't good enough.
