The "Star Trek" movie has an interesting story line (actually several), is full of laughs and is an action-packed thrill a minute. There is not one slow second. The characters are VERY well-developed and unbelievably true to the originals. I left the theater wishing that my late father (who was a MAJOR Trekkie) could have seen it. He would have loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It movie your attention. It's exciting and funny. There is something in it for adults and children. By the way, it is NOT a movie for very young children.
