Slumdog Slams It .

On Oscar weekend Sat. my wife and I pick several movies to see. This year we chose only 2 -- Slumdog and Benjamin (Brad Pitt)..
Slumdog was amazing. Though 2 hours it kept our interest throughout. Very clever use of flashback. And the young actors were physically attractive and spot on in their acting. Hard to believe that this is their first movie. The dump scenes were hard to view. Yet we came away feeling that there is a lot of work to be done worldwide in solving the problem of poverty. Also it reminded us of just how blessed we are to have been born in the USA. .
