Big on Action, Little on Plot

When I first saw the extended trailer for this movie on YouTube, I was very excited about it. The Bible passages and intense drama made it look like it'd be a provacative, thought-provoking exploration of God's charater and His relationship to humanity. As the TV trailers started coming out, I realized it was going to be a B-rate, low-budget rock-em-sock-em. There's plenty of action, but there is not much attention given to character development and the background of the prophesy plotline. Some scenes came off as too forced and uber-predictable. The resolution to the story is also lacking. Sequel? Might be a good idea to wait for the DVD on this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
