I took my Grandaughter to see this movie. She seemed to enjoy it and I found it entertaining. I must say for someone who grew up on Pooh it did seem a little lacking. It maybe the voices have changed but I do think the story line style has change a bit too. More modernized. Somethings are best left as they are. Pooh will not compete with Cars or the Smurfs but Pooh will always be a classic. He lives on.
Third time is a charm for this movie. Usually sequels wear thin but Transformers 3 was a pleasant surprise. Action packed; and fun from beginning to end. Well worth watching.
My only complaint was the Megan Fox replacement. It just didn't fit to have a super model as unecessary eye candy. She didn't fit the part; didn't play it well and in some cases took away from the movie. He would have been better off with out the Megan Fox wanna be.
I have to say overall I enjoyed the movie. It was a little slow building the story line but then it picked up.Kevin Bacon as always pulls off a good evil dude. The special effects were good and action level high. Still I left thinking what next? This must be the new mo in Hollywood. Make a series of movies and end it with how it all started. Will we next see How Jack Sparrow became a pirate?
This movie was great it kept you interested throughout. I only gave it 4 stars becuase all these type of movies are written the same way. You met the cast before the big event and then watch it unfold. It gets to a point where you go "Oh that guy won't make it." Never the less based on a true story is it an amazing movie about the power of relationships and survival.
An enjoyable movie about love, and life. Julie Roberts as usual is a joy to watch and pulls us into the role. Yes I think it is safe to say this is a Chic Flick there was only one lone man in the audience when I saw the movie. Lessons are learned and you develope a kindred spirit with the character. Very well done Julia.
There were some good tidbits to this movie but I didn't know it was horror based so I was unpleasantly surprised by the language used for shock affect and the unreal persona of what an angel is.
although there were a few good lines the movie built to a peak and then failed to pull off a good ending
