About a year ago I read Sapphire's Novel "Push". I was totally overwhelmed by it. Last evening I viewed "Precious" at the St. Louis Premier. Words cannot express how deeply this movie affected me. From the opening montage to the closing credits I was deeply moved. I work in Social Services and it left me wondering how many Precious' are in my caseload. I know this may sound corny but I left the theatre wanting to be a better human being and extremely grateful for every blessing in my life. In my opinion there is no honor high enough and no accolade great enough to pay proper homage to this brilliant work!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This was not his best film however I did enjoy the lighter moments. Some of the dramatic moments were a little predictable, however this follows Tyler's formula which has made him as successful as he is. This is no masterpiece but it is a very good date movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
