Moving and Wonderful

Movies are, by their nature, an opportunity to set Real Life aside and indulge in a story. James Cameron has done precisely this with Avatar.
The film is wonderful. There are Good Guys to cheer, a Bad Guy or two to boo, a love story, a war story, a passion play, Disneyesque wonders; it is truly an impressive work. Amazingly, Cameron has richly woven all these elements together; all are given due emphasis as the story unfolds, and none (not even the 3-D) are overplayed to the point where they become a distraction.
Make the time to see Avatar; and take the whole family. Go wrap yourself up in the big, blue arms of this wonderful film; Real Life can wait for a few hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
