description in three words, BORING, BORING, BORING. Leave it to M. Night to take a storyline and characters that was already good and ruin it. I dealt with some of the changes like okay obviously the story has to be condensed, but sorry Hello, an indian fire nation? then changes to their powers, changing the pronunciaton of characters names, changing how the avatar dealt with the fire nation at the northern water tribe, ALL LAME, ALL UNNECESSARY. This movie should never have been directed or written by him, I think any other director would've had since enough to capitalize on what was already there, please the fans and new audiences and get a good payday, but no of course not him, All of his movies Big Hype up, even bigger let down. NO sequels please, not if M. Night has any involvement
my family and I went to see this movie this weekend and we all thought it was great, its cool to see the Rock Dwayne Johnson doing family/kids movies it shows versatility on his part. Some of the sequences may be a little scary for kids under 5 but it's an all around good movie with action and some story behind it without being so dragged out that the kids get bored with it. I hope the movie received good ratings from movie critics as well but if it didnt, ignore them if making a movie was so easy they'd be doing it themselves. I would recommend this movie to anyone.
