Most people will walk into the theatre with high expectations for another beautifully animated, wonderfully told storyline from Disney-Pixar. You will not be disappointed. Up is adorable, from beginning to end. Heart-warming and lovable characters grace the screen, with even the "villians" of the piece making you smile from time to time. Dug the dog is almost too cute to be true, and the ever-so-subtle "squirrel" moments leave you laughing out loud. The 3D is definitely worth the trip to the theatre. Don't miss this one.
Milk is a fantastic, historically accurate portrayal of the first openly gay politician in the United States. Sean Penn delivers an intense, committed performance that embodies the gay activist down to the most minute detail. Also, Josh Brolin gives a disturbingly realistic performance of Dan White. Overall, the acting is fantastic and worth every moment. Although the story tends to be a little lengthier than necessary, and a few of the scenes could have been shaved (I found myself getting a little "itchy" towards the end), the caliber of acting and the honesty of the story makes this a must see.
