A complete and utter dissapointment. The movie is riddled with inappropriate violence and themes that lead one to the inescapable conclusion that the Wild Things need family counseling and maybe some anti-psychotic meds. Most films for children convey a message. The message here was, its OK to hurl rocks at your friends when your mad or even remove one of their limbs! I sat my child down upon returning home and counseled him on the inappropriateness of most of what he saw during the movie. I'm not a "tree hugging" liberal that wants to shield children from the real world, but this is NOT a film for children or even mentally healthy adults for that matter.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
