AWESOME!!!! Just what I expected...

This movie was great...and just what I expected from Depp... AWESOME!!! I loved how the director stayed true to the book. He only made changes when he thought it would better the story and he was right on target all the time. Hathaway was awesome as the white queen and so was the red queen. For me this movie did what the animated version Disney made did not, it brought the story to life. Lastly, although Depp was the star, I am glad the whole movie did not revolve around him. I can't wait for the next one, yes there will be a second, but as with all movies these days it seems, the second one will tell the beginning. Great movie, must see!!!

Not what I was hoping for. I went with my boyfriend and daughter (15) and everyone gave it a 4 out of 10... We expected more comedy. This is a cute movie for teen daters or those wanted to see a "nice" movie on a first date.
