I saw the JoBros live, and know what a good show they put on. This movie did not do a good job of conveying that experience. More interested in pushing their back catalog than producing an entertaining movie, we get tepid concert versions of unfamiliar songs. The new song is nothing special. Still, my daughters had a good time, and the movie wasn't a total waste of time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
