The movie had incredible special effects and the world they created was well thought out and beautiful.
The characters were all stereotypes
The plot is completely unoriginal. It's Dances with Wolves meets Ferngully in space. James Cameron really should have read about colonialism and post-colonialism before making this film. A white man is the savior of a "savage" race of beings is so racist.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
