Very good job of showing a single character viewpoint and extremely good FX. Plot is thin but so is 90% of the movies these days. Action is constant so the movie isn't dull. NC playing the role on autopilot but who cares? Better than I expected.
This movie is completely unpredictable because even though the plot is obvious the actions and reactions keep you guessing. Easily the most entertaining of the 3D animation movies and well voiced by Carell. Adults and children will be amazed.
The idea the Brit Reed is a bungling playboy who likes to play with toys will change a potential generation of Green Hornet fans into people who don't care. Another comic book ho hum. The idea that such a critical character is made to be less than a complete character is as bad as Kato treating him as someone who is worth knowing. This is the worst thing anyone could do to an excellent duo and it is probably exactly what they wanted.
Although very musical this movie does not use the music to replace the story. The plot is simple enough for kids and interesting for adults as well. Disney does its usual great job on the visuals. Nice twist on the ending too.
Most of the humor has been seen before but it works fine to see it again. Plot a little thin but Steve Martin seems to be channeling Peter Sellers. Good family movie.
