interesting idea but quickly became very dark & too sadistic. It was actually quite disturbing. Too dark & demented for my tatstes.

As Usual with most Tranantino films I loved this film except for the over the top violence in the last 30 minutes. Still a great movie. Waltz again steals the show. Only Pulp Fiction & Jackie Brown are ahead of this film in the Tarantino collection.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Cons a bit bloody
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Pretty Decent Mel Gibson Flick

It's not one of his best but a pretty decent movie and worth seeing. Movie drags a bit at times and the plot gets a little too complicated for it's own good. Good performance by Gibson and the other actors. Wish they had given Ray Whinstone a bigger part. Overall I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it. At least this one is in english unlike the last 2 movies he directed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Go see The Wolfman instead

I hope it got better as we walked out after the first 30-40 minutes. Ridiculous plot and even more ridiculous action. I usually like Travolta in any movie but even he couldn't save this one and I don't even know why Jonathan Rhys Meyers was even in the film. Went to see The Wolfman, much better.

I enjoyed the movie more than most as it reminded me of the 1979 version of "Dracula" with Frank Langella which I think is the best Dracula film ever made. Good pacing and good acting although I did think Del Toro was somewhat out of place. I liked the homage it paid to the original film with Lon Chaney. Not as bloody as I was led to believe. Interesting twist with the father but fight scene was somewhat ridiculous. Overall I enjoyed it, would recommed it and would see it again. Hugo Weaving was surprisingly good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie is good, not great but a solid good. Plot and ending a little too predictable but good action scenes and great location shots. Liam Neeson does an excellent job in this role. Biggest problem is that he trails her and finds her a bit too easily even for an ex-CIA Agent or whatever he was before he retired. No suspense on whether he can find her in the 96 hours that he has. Overall a very solid movie and well worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
