You will not only be transported to a mind-blowing new world that you can see, and hear, but somehow this film is able to take you to a new world that you can touch and, importantly, you can feel. The intricate details demand that you get inside the action and experience it with all your senses-- much as we do when we dream.
This film is a tour de force. It brings the archetypal themes into play--Man vs. Nature, Good vs. Evil, the young man on a journey, coming into manhood, death vs. life, birth, and rebirth.
I am a Mom who often dreads going to films with my teen and pre-teen boys. I loved this film beyond my wildest dreams. Go see it!!!
