Harry Potter is back on track

After the disaster that was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (I apparently only needed to see the last 10 minutes, too bad I sat in the theatre for 2 hours and 23 minutes bored out of my skull) I was hoping that they wouldn't screw up the last two movies. And just for the record, this movie rocked. Almost exactly like the book, Deathly Hallows Part 1 was absolutely fantastic. There were only a few scenes in the book that I thought could have been done a little better in the movie but overall I couldn't have asked for a better adaptation of the last book (1st part at least). I plan on seeing this movie again in the theatres (awesome on the big screen) and can't wait for part 2!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I grew up watching Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as the original series and was excited as well as apprehensive about this movie coming out. I am a huge fan and was very nervous that J.J. Abrams would screw it up but I was blown away by this movie. The casting was fantastic, I don't think they could have done a better job if they tried. Karl Urban was absolutely exceptional as Bones, absolutely wonderful. I have already seen the movie twice and am planning on seeing it as many times as I can on the big screen. Fans of the series as well and newcomers will love this movie and it is not something to be missed on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought that X-Men Origins: Wolverine was pretty awesome and I'm glad that I went and saw it on the big screen. I think that Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber did a fantastic job, my only complaint would be that I thought that Ryan Reynolds was going to be in the story more. Overall the movie was worth the hype and wait and I would definitely see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Must See

Last House on the Left was a fantastic movie. And while the rape scene was intense and terrible, I have seen far worse in several different movies. The acting was amazing, especially Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter. I really liked that this was a family that wasn't on the verge of divorce or had severe problems; they were just a normal family put in extraordinary circumstances. You really felt that they were a family and that they would have done anything to protect each other (and they do). I have not seen the original but this was an outstanding movie regardless and as long as you can take disturbing violence, it’s something I definitely recommend.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I originally wanted to see the movie solely because Jared Padalecki was starring in it and expected it to be terrible. I was totally wrong. This movie was such a great horror flick--the kills were fantastic, the gore alone made this movie a win. Normally I don't have a lot of faith in the Jason movies but this one was amazing. There were parts that made me jump, parts that made me laugh, and parts that made me cringe. All the right ingredients for an awesome horror movie. I can't wait to see it again on the big screen and will definitely buy it when it comes out on DVD. A Must see!!
