I thought the main characters were excellent,but the editing seemed very sloppy. A lot of hanging phrases and worried looks just in air. Making this into a teen drama worked very well and provided a lot of humor as well as awkward intimate situations and vivid emotions. Jim Broadbent as Slughorn was a great choice and the story flowed pretty well but if you haven't seen the other movies it would be confusing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A Powerful Bust

We were unable to see the movie or the panel at White Plains due to a problem with the Satellite. I had purchased the ticket online at 6:45 and arrived at 7:30 to be told that the film was cancelled! Maybe the facility should not host if satellite performances are so problematic. As we all got free movie tickets, it was a pretty costly snafu.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
