Not Worth the 3D Price

This movie is Tim Burton's way of tacking onto the original Alice in Wonderland Disney story. Keep in mind that this is a Disney movie. The look of the movie is wonderful but the 3D doesn't really add much to it. The characters are very flat and Johnny Depp is basically Jack Sparrow through out. I got pretty bored halfway through and the ending just fell apart entirely. Of course, I should have seen that coming when they started foretelling that Alice has to kill the Jabberwocky. This is a rental... maybe
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This was an okay movie

This movie had it's scary moments. I was a little disappointed that they went for more of the 'startle scare' tactics even though this is supposed to be a psychological thriller. The twist at the end was decent. I was only able to figure out half of it before the movie was over so that made me pretty happy. :) This is a great renter.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
