The story is haunting. The movie was true to the creativity and intensity of the book. The story is about 9/11, but it's not. Its intention is to tell a story of loss and grieving and it is done beautifully through a boy and the people around him. Having two strong actors in the supporting roles, I fear, took some movie goers by surprise. It is well worth seeing.
The acting was average. I was disappointed in Tom Hanks. There were some twists and turns, but much of it was predictable. The story had potential, but it was too long and just not that exciting. At times it was very far fetched and the dialogue was laughable.
