Disappointing

I was expecting a swashbuckling, action packed adventure but instead got a muddled, confused and aimless tale. The dialogue was inaudible at times and the action scenes were confusing and, most of all, boring.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The director uses much less graphic violence than in most war time movies which leaves the viewer to their own imagination, wondering what can and will happen. This, coupled with superb character development (we really care about the characters) makes for an intense, rewarding and thought provoking movie experience. By the end of the movie, we feel as though we know these characters and feel what they are experiencing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
