This was a predictable, but very enjoyable movie. Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson were great in their roles, and allowed me to become completely immersed in the movie. It didn't pretend to be anything other than what it was. Definitely worth seeing."

"This movie was phenomenal. It promotes a great understanding of the gay movement. It exposes the homophobia, lack of education, and self-hatred that is behind bigotry. The acting was outstanding. I was unfamiliar with this story and found it very informative.”

"In Gran Torino we see Clint Eastwood as a blend of almost every character we have enjoyed throughout his great acting career. This movie is very well done and stirs your emotions on all levels. Gran Torino speaks volumes about our changing society - the good, the bad and the ugly."

“Entertaining and a feel good movie that takes a funny look at guy/girl relationships. It has a good story line with a great cast. Definitely would recommend for the ladies to go out and see. As a guy I thought it was great.”

"This movie is merely ok; Don't know what all the hype is all about! Hardly hit-worthy and forget an Oscar. It depicts slum life which was interesting. Frustrating subtitles.”
