DO NOT waste your money by seeing this movie. If you are even contemplating seeing it, do not waste any brain energy by doing so.
I about walked out 5 minutes into the movie because I'm slightly claustrophobic and found myself starting to get very uncomfortable by seeing him in the coffin and constrained.
I can not believe that anyone would have wasted their time even producing this complete and utter trash.
Ryan Reynolds, on the other hand, did an outstanding job. He definitely plays the part of some poor guy who has been put in an impossible and unthinkable situation. He definitely conveys the graphically claustrophobic terror that is inescapable.
I would not recommend this movie to my worst enemy!!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Although the movie starts off tragically you start to understand why things happen as they do. Not everything happens for no reason. Charlie St. Cloud shows us that things happen to us for a reason. We just have to open our eyes to understand what that reason is. This movie is a must see and I highly recommend it. I would and will gladly see it again.
This movie starts out in a spot where most futuristic movies do, death, destruction and mayhem but definitely takes you to a place where you are looking inward at yourself and examining your beliefs. Its a must see movie that I would highly recommend.
Do not waste your money on this movie. It was by far one of the most offensive, vile and distasteful movies of modern day time. Frankly, I'm surprised that any Middle Eastern Clerics have not called for a Fatwa on Sacha Baron Cohen.
I'm a full supporter of the First Amendment Rights BUT this goes far beyond anything that should even be considered art. The movie was disrespectful and in my opinion should have been rated NC-17 vice R.
