For it's genre, it was a solid movie. It wasn't a psychological thriller, it was a slasher pic. The plot does get a little slow in the middle, but overall it was a good movie. I think if they had a little more 3D aspects interspersed the movie would've been excellent, but I didn't experience any difficulties with the effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
