Truly Moving

-One of the most powerful WWII films I have seen in a long time. All performances were top notch and the story was very well written & beautifully brought to life. The ending was truly moving - the theater was packed during my viewing and not a single person spoke or stood to leave as the credits started. It was as though the emotion hung in the air and no one wished to disturb it. Not once have I seen an audience so wholly humbled.
While "Defiance" is a great movie, I feel obliged to warn anyone who might consider taking a child or younger teen. It is a war/holocaust film and some of the more violent content may be too much for younger audiences. As such I'd recommend watching the movie yourself before taking any child 15 or younger.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
