What a cultural experience! This movie deserves the awards it's getting because, unfortunately, it is realistic in terms of the main story. There are a few too many coincidences and the ending is a little too contrived, but for the most part it shows something about a part of the world most Americans don't know anything about.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
