I wrote a horrible review for this movie, but having since then read about the difficulties in making this movie, I change my mind.
The director actually WANTED to make the movie exactly like it plays out in the book. However, time crunches,money crunches, and weather played key roles in why the book was portrayed they way it did on film.
I take back everything I said in my last review and give this beautiful story 5 stars. If you have not read the books....do so. It will explain a lot.
