I really enjoyed the movie and the 3D effects were really cool. I liked the goriness , but felt it needed to be scarier. I felt liked they wanted to make it Halloween scary, but it did not happen. If you are a hardcore gore and scary movie person the movie may be too light for you. I tend to get startled easy, but my husband is into the hardcore stuff and he thought it was just okay. I'd still go see it just for the effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
