Jeff Bridges is definitely at the top of his game in this one. Maggie G. is also wonderful in it. It took me a while to recognize Colin Ferrell, and who knew he could sing? And Old Reliable Bob Duvall in a cameo as the barkeep. Just an amazing, 'tear your heart out' kinda film. Lots of good, original, gritty music for C+W fans. We (all four of us) loved it. Bittersweet ending, but reality would have it no other way, I think.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
