An underapprecuated Verdi masterpiece. Written after Rigelitto and Traviata it contains some of Verdi's best writing and a great although very confusing story. The job done by the Metropolitan opera with a first rate cast was first rate. Domingo acted the part wich made the presentation better than the sum of the parts.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Very good singing, excellent cast, compelling acting, great orchestra and conducting
It worked
Sound too loud in the theater-tends to make the voices sound amplified
