Movie Does Original Play Proud

I definitely recommend Tyler Perry's screen adaptation of the original play and poetry by playwrite Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Perry stayed true to the 1970s book, but added a much needed "good guy" character and updated some of the situations for a movie audience. This added tremendously to the movie watching experience. The actresses, especially Loretta Devine, Phyllicia Rashad and Janet Jackson, were especially believable.

Excellent, Family Friendly Movie

I would highly recommend The Princess and the Frog for both adults and children alike! The acting, voices, music and set designs and scenery were excellent. It should be a Disney classic.
