Spectacular Nonsense

You can literally feel the logic of the plot unwind as the drama escalates. Was the script written by a team of video game enthusiasts who were all paid to read Freud for Dummies? This movie would have been a fun summer thrill were it not for its hyper self-conscious but half-baked intellectualism. Next time stick with special effects, Nolan, and leave your gibberish about the subconscious for your therapy sessions.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
