Slumdog Millionaire is one of the best movies I have seen in years, and I have seen a lot of movies. While brutal in many respects, it carried the thread of love and its power in spite of enormous odds. In other words, the movie was uplifting. We left the theater marveling at the resiliency of the human spirit. I am spreading the word about this wonderful movie. I just wish that Hollywood would get the message and produce more movies that are high quality and that provide an intelligent story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
