Predictable

Buff doesn't want to rate it, because after only 1 week he can't remember what it was about. Bunny says ... predicatable. Let's save the earth from the aliens. Hokey story and heroic ending. Of course, Keanu is always nice to look at, and while Kathy Bates is not nice to look at, it's always nice to see a familiar face. She did okay. Unfortunately, not all that great of a movie. Don't even rent the DVD - wait until it's on cable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Buff says a unique blend of story and acting that resulted in a must see movie. To describe the movie will either give it away or not do it justice, therefore, I really believe that this movie demands you give it a shot! You will be glad you did. Bunny says wonderful surprise and the best of the three movies we saw this week. Fascinating filming of another way of life. Great story, great acting, great filming, great way to spend an evening at the movies.

Just Good Old Fashioned Wholesome

Buff says it had a little of everything - humor - tears. Enjoyable evening at the movies. Children did great acting, particularly the oldest boy. A good old fashioned movie where you can forget all your troubles and just involve yourself in the life and times of Marley and his family. Bunny says great movie - huge tear jerker. Buff and I cried hard, and our teen and "tween" laughed at us crying. I wouldn't have brought our grandchildren who are younger - it is terribly sad at the end and would've been too much for them.

Much Better than Good

Buff says Tom Cruise is great. An example of how he can act as good as he looks. The ending could've been better - but history determined that; nothing the movie makers could do about it! Bunny says it was great dramatic movie as well as educational. Not boring. How many people really knew the story of Valkyrie? Go see it - it's a good choice.
