One of the things that makes a movie successful for me is if I can relate to the characters and care about them. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind relating to Will Smith's. The only other one we got to know well enough to care about was that of Rosario Dawson. She was very good but she didn't know what was coming. I did. He didn't know if his plan would be successful. How would you feel if your son or daughter decided to take this course of action? We do know that he was reaping more grief on top of the grief he had already caused. I found the plot morose, against my way of thinking and totally absurd. I almost left, the only thing that kept me was the hope he would change his mind. He didn't. I wish I had not seen this movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
