Leo di Caprio, as always an immaculate performance, he does angst and dark drama so well. All the elements of dreaming incorporated so well throughout the plot and effects. From moving through rooms without gravity, to the element of time, Nolan succeeds in making us buy in to the movie's basic premise of shared dreams. The only criticism I have is that I had a hard time investing in the prime motivation for all the action in the movie, i.e. to change the direction of a major corporation. Really? Intellectually this didn't seem reason enough to go through such danger and complexity. However, don't miss it. And see it in an IMAX theater if you can.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Annette Bening was brilliant in this story of a contemporary family. I loved the way the relationships in this movie were shown but not explained. We, the audience, were not subjected to having to have every detail of the relationships spelt out to us, but were allowed the luxury of observing, digesting and drawing our own conclusions as to why things were as they were. Not sure I totally liked the way it began as funny and lighthearted and gradually got more serious and intense. Would have liked more balance in mood through the movie.
