Fantastic action/Tired PC plot

I thought the action and the special effects were awesome. The plot was so predictable (evil exploiters of the environment/little guy arrive in virgin territory. Little guy with help from an "enlightened" former exploiter tackle the entire evil complex, while the former exploiter changes sides for good, and all is happy for ever and ever. Why do talented people like Cameron feel the need to be so PC in movies?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
