Unique visually, trite story

Stunning visual experience, raises the bar for technology-centric cinema. (Although the 3-D glasses are a bit uncomfortable and the IMAX screen I saw the movie on was not all-enveloping as I expected.)
The plot, as has been mentioned by many others, is quite derivative, and, in my opinion, has an unrealistic ending -- the indigenous people win. In the real world, they would be decimated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
