I was looking for the same nuance as the first film but could not find it. A bit dry and familiar. Kids wil love it though...kids love monkeys.....

I really liked this movie but was a bit shocked by the graphic nature of the violence and sex scenes. You would not expect it in a "superhero movie". Rated "R" for a good reason and not for kids or young adults. Absolutely well done and highly recommended for those whole like movies with a plot and resolution of established characters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
