Capriccio Well Done

While I'm no fan of Strauss this was an excellent performance. Acting and staging were superb. Flemming was super magnificent in a role that not only required great singing but also a good deal of stage business. I only wish I liked the opera.

Fantastic Experience audilly and visually

Magnificent voices and lovely to look at. We experienced some satellite breakup - annoying in that we had no idea of how long it would last fortunately it was brief.

Sensational

Everything was magnificent from the ghost to the mad scene. The voices were wonderful, the acting superb, the back stage activities were fascinating ( I had no idea that there was an acre of work space behind the curtain) and Donizetti is not bad either. The sound could have been a tad lower.
