Although the basic premise of the story is predictable, the way it's told is excellent. I thought it was great how they explained the use of robots instead of people and how Hugh Jackman's character is a former boxer. The relationship between father and son was done beautifully - no part of it seemed forced or fake. It's a feel good movie, a father and son movie, a great story and shouldn't be missed!
I saw this last night and went in hoping that all there were more funny scenes than those shown in the previews. I was not disappointed! I laughed and laughed along with everyone else in the theater. What made it so funny was that it really seemed like you were watching old friends hang out instead of a scripted movie. There was no forced humor, hardly any foul language and some life lessons and touching moments that really made this a great movie.
