In the movie, a young man calls Harvey Milk at a point when he is ready to kill himself rather than be sent to a place that is going to "Cure" him. It made chills down my spine. I was 16 gay and alone in Ohio when I tried to call the Advocate for help. It was the first and only thing gay that I had heard of and I needed to know someone else that felt the same and I did. Milk protrayed that time acurately, honestly and with heart. Sean Penn was phenominal. Thank you for getting it out into the regular theaters!
