George Clooney makes the movie

This was an excellently written and acted film. The casting was spot on. Without George Clooney though the film would have had less emotional layers. He was wonderful in it. The film had a perfect blend of humor and melancholy.

Sherlock Holmes was enjoyable and thoroughly entertaining. The lead actors made the film though. Without them the film would have dragged in places. The set design was darkly appealing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
