Takes place in middle school while plot is elementary and cleavage/substance abuse is collegiate.Cameron Diaz delivers the blackmail with a great leg show while Ms Squirrel (Lucy Punch- the competition) begs a seat near the window ledge. It is Cameron's attitude grading tests with F-bombs and profanities that gives a LEG UP on recommending this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not up to Spielberg Standards

I gave Super 8 a three but on the Spielberg Scale it coulda been much better (although it wasn't a total train wreck). Must be slow-town USA when teen-age babe hangs with middle school geeks to make competition movie and is so much more adept she brings tears to their eyes. The only saving grace in this movie is not knowing where its going. Even near end when creature reads one boy's mind, ya don't no if its gonna go good, go rogue on all adults,or start an Earth invasion. Super 8 isn't ET cute but male youngsters will get a Transformer BANG outta it. The chief recommends it only if you're bringing little BillyBob along.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good Animation

Panda 2 started out with great music soundtrack (Oscar nom?) and really great animation effects in the bay (near end of movie) but between the intro of Po "the Dragon Warrior" and battle with the Lord Shen (white peacock) near end it gets a little dull for some adults. Music and long battle at end with Shen's wolfpack and cannonade will make movie (panda)bearable if not quite entertaining for most adults and spot on for kids. 3 3/4 feathers
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What we have here is a very limited release movie working on a small budget which will not gather a bucket full of revenue but is very well unfolded by Ben Hickernell. Character development is flawless where 30 something yuppie travels to his father's funeral searching answers to his early years and father's little known life there which takes him to his attic, classroom, and local bar.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

After his forgettable Green Hornet performance, Chris hit the mark again in this movie. All actors did rather well in WFE and movie did good job portraying desperation for work & keeping business (circus) going during Great Depression.Water wasn't drink of choice of these elephants.Jimmy gives this four feathers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is the funniest movie of year (& I see'em all). Guys will bust a gut and girls will have mascara trails long before the "we do" in this flick.Bridesmaids starts out with little sexual booty (for which some senior citizens were ready to exit) but luckily they stayed for the hysterics. The chief gives this 4 1/2 feathers.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Saw Groundhog Day on April Fools Day

Movie used new refreshing concept instead of standard issue time travel to elude calamity.Using premises from Groundhog Day and Avatar I found Source Code to be well paced, seems shorter than 1.5 hours. Limited acting was required but Gyllenhaal takes you on board.
