I have to admit, I went into this expecting to see Ben Affleck being non-convincingly drab throughout the entire film completely ruining the supporting actor's scenes. But I was pleasingly surprised at how good this movie was! Ben did a GREAT job at directing this action-drama! He played his character well, and Jeremy Renner, who plays James Coughlin, was awesome! Actress Blake Lively, who plays Krista Coughlin, was also perfect for her pivotal role in the story! Great cast! Very well acted! Intense action, which was not overdone nor too unrealistic. Great drama with the main (3-dimensional) characters!
This film is an inside peek into the ruthless lives of neighborhood friends who happen to live in Charlestown, Boston, described in the beginning of the film as the world's capital for carjacking, kidnappings, and armed robberies. Go see this movie....you won't be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was awesome from the opening credits till the last words on the screen! A must see! Do not go in thinking it's just a movie about Facebook; rather, it's about the creation of something that completely revolutionized the way we all live. Excellent cast! Excellent script! Excellent score! Very inspiring! You felt for all of the characters. And best of all, it's based on true events! I mean, why wouldn't you want to see it....it chronicles the birth of Facebook?
This movie was awesome from before the credits to the ending credits!!! EXCELLENT CAST!!! Great twists! Action packed! The characters were hilarious in some parts of the movie when they weren't being AWESOMMMMMMME!!!! LOL! Great movie! I can't wait to they do another one ....because....c'mon.....you know there's gonna be plenty more A-Team movies!
I only went to see this movie b/c Westley Snipes was in it along with one of my favorite actors, Don Cheadle. Ironically, Westley Snipes' and Don Cheadle's characters made me want to boycott all gangster films starring middle aged, dew-rag wearing, street talking, drug dealing ex-cons. All of their scenes make you feel like you're watching New Jack City Part II, the Geriatric Edition. As for Ethan Hawke, he delivers as usual. But it's brutal watching Richard Gere's character?! Not sure if it's b/c of bad casting or what?! Either way, Ethan Hawke could've easily carried the entire movie on his own without any other named actors. Actually, it would've been MUCH better that way.
Leo never ceases to amaze! Brilliant performance! I wish I could forget everything that happened so I can go see it all over again! Excellent twists that go in all different directions. And quite possibly the most perfect ending that leaves you questioning everything!
Out of 5 stars, that movie is a hard 3. And I gave it that b/c it wasn't awful and there was one scene toward the end that gave it hope. Dreamworks must've set out to make a "safe" movie. The R rating was forced, seems like. Probably b/c they showed man-ass a few times?! It's not Knocked Up; it's not Superbad; it's not Forgetting Sarah Marshal; actually it's not even close. It's JUST a movie about a kid who just doesn't get it and a chick who digs him. Toward the end, for a SPLIT second, there's an opening for the movie to get really interesting, but then it doesn't. Meanwhile, she's suppose to be a ten, but her best friend, who hardly has any lines, is ridiculously cuter than she is. Eh, they tried....I laughed one and 1/2 times.
