The very BEST Star Trek movie since The Wrath of Khan.
There was not a dull moment in this entire film....it had it all, humor, action, love, special effects, sadness....u name it. The movie was fast paced and actually EXCEEDED my expectations, and I'm quite hard on Trek films.
The entire "alternate timeline" theory is good and I was alittle concerned about changes to the canon, but all in all, FANTASTIC FILM and well worth the price. They needed to do something to bring Star Trek into the 21st century.
Another thing, u can watch it with absolutely NO prior Star Trek experience or exposure, and it stands alone as a GREAT Sci Fi film.
Outstanding film and the IMAX experience, AMAZING

The movie is fascinating subject matter and pretty good. I enjoyed it and thought it was a very entertaining move for Xmas morning. :)
I hope people go to this movie with an open mind and ignore the negative reviews by the so called "critics" who have nothing good to say about it.
Thanks to Tom for tackling a story that needed to be told. Bravo, good job!!
