I went to see this movie knowing nothing about it at all. It was in limited release at the time. From the tiny bit I was told about it, I thought it would be awful. I was blown away. I walked out of the theatre in awe. It was the best movie I have ever seen. It was not the usual flashback movie. I was able to follow the entire movie and never lost track of what was going on, as is usual in flashbacks. I was so excited when it came to my town so that I can take my family to see it. I was not surprised at all when I heard it was nominated for best picture.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
