The idea (silent movie star done in by talkies) has been done to death- but this film puts a fresh spin on it. Everything works perfectly together: direction, cinematography, performances, score, editing. The screenplay is actually about something- a refreshing contrast to the usual blockbuster. It's funny and touching in equal measure- don't miss it!

Great classic thriller

A bit old school, but an interesting setting (the corporate world) for a thriller with two female protagonists. Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier are at the top of their game.

Abrams succeeds in his homage to late 70s-early 80s Spielberg flicks featuring kids and thrills. Nice special effects and the kid actors are natural and appealing. Nothing earth-shaking, but a fun day at the movies, and definitely better than most "summer" fare.
